Acne scars

Buildable coverage for uneven colour left after breakouts, with a realistic approach to texture. Even the look of tone while keeping your finish personal.

What it is

Acne can leave indented or raised scars after a breakout has healed. Flat red or brown marks are different from scars that change the skin's texture, although both can occur together. Makeup can help disguise colour differences, but it does not remove scarring or smooth away permanent changes in texture.

Coverage considerations

Marks and scars are different

Colour left after a breakout and changes in texture need different expectations. Coverage mainly helps with the appearance of uneven tone.

Texture remains visible

Thick layers can draw attention to uneven areas. Build gradually and stop when the finish feels right for you.

Choosing your coverage

Some areas may need only a light layer, while more visible discolouration may benefit from targeted Foundation.

Build coverage around your needs

Aspilon Foundation provides buildable medium-to-full coverage for visible colour differences, including marks around healed acne scars. If redness is your main concern, CC Cream can be used as a lighter base. These are cosmetic coverage products, not treatments for active acne or scarring.

How to apply

  1. Prepare without friction

Start with clean, intact skin and your usual skincare. Allow it to settle before applying makeup; avoid open or picked areas.

  2. Apply a light layer

Blend a small amount of Foundation over the areas you want to even out. Use CC Cream first only if you want a base for visible redness.

  3. Refine the finish

Press additional Foundation onto individual marks with a clean damp sponge. Keep layers thin around textured areas and blend the edges.
