The Calmer
INCI · Acetyl Tetrapeptide-15, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-8
What it does
These peptides act specifically on the nerve endings in the skin to reduce the stinging sensation caused by irritation.
Why it matters
Dosed at a high, clinical level. Skin not only looks less red, it also feels less burning and less tight.
The Redness Killer
INCI · Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate
What it does
Helps regulate sebum production. The gold standard for skin prone to rosacea or chronic redness.
Why it matters
Much gentler on the skin than pure azelaic acid, yet still delivers the even complexion you want from a CC cream.
The Vessel Controller
INCI · Piperonyl Glucose
What it does
An innovative molecule that links glucose to piperonyl alcohol, developed to reduce blood-vessel reactivity. Helps stop vessels dilating too quickly, the cause of the flushing or hot-flush feeling, and calms visible redness and rosacea.
Why it matters
Combined with the peptides, this tackles redness on two fronts at once: the nerves and the blood vessels.
The supporting cast
The three workhorses that hold the barrier together so the actives above can do their job without drying the skin out.
The barrier builder. An essential component for strengthening the skin barrier so it holds moisture and shrugs off everyday triggers.
Provitamin B5
Penetrates deeply, hydrates intensely, soothes on contact. Often more effective than hyaluronic acid on red, irritated skin.
A natural humectant that locks moisture into the skin, similar in function to hyaluronic acid. Doubles as the solvent that carries the active ingredients through.
