General redness

Targeted ingredients like piperonyl glucose and an azelaic acid derivative to reduce visible redness.

Skin that runs red across the whole face (post-exercise, post-retinol, stress flush, winter cold snap) doesn't need full camouflage. It needs a colour-correcting layer that brings tone back to neutral without making the skin look coated.

How to cover

Three steps.

  1. Apply CC Cream across the whole face in a thin layer. Aspilon's CC Cream is specifically built to counter visible redness. This is the product's home ground.

  2. If one area is meaningfully redder than the rest, layer a second thin pass only on that area. Blend the edges into the surrounding CC Cream layer.

  3. Skip foundation for everyday wear. CC Cream alone usually covers general redness. Reserve Foundation for days where you want stronger cover.

What works

A few things we’ve learned.

  • 01

Apply when your skin is cool. If you've just come in from the cold or a workout, wait 10 minutes. Otherwise the redness keeps rising through whatever you put on.

  • 02

Cool storage helps: a CC Cream kept at 18–20°C goes on smoother than one that's been in a warm bathroom cabinet all summer.

  • 03

If redness is persistent (not just reactive), it may be rosacea rather than general redness. A consultation can tell the difference.
