Port-wine stains

Capillary malformations needing buildable coverage without occlusion.

Book a consultation

Port-wine stains sit deeper in the skin than most makeup was built for. Thin concealers slide off, thick camouflage clogs pores. Aspilon is formulated for exactly this in-between: buildable enough to cover a fully pigmented patch, breathable enough that you can wear it every day without flare-ups underneath.

How to cover

Three steps.

  1. Start with one pearl-sized drop of Foundation on clean, moisturised skin. Press into the stain area with fingertips or our sponge.

  2. Build a second layer directly over the stain after 30 seconds. For most port-wine stains, two layers reach a natural-looking cover; three gets you to photo-level.

  3. Set with a translucent powder only on the stain area, not the whole face. This keeps coverage locked for 8+ hours without turning matte.

What works

A few things we’ve learned.

  • 01

Do the application on slightly damp skin (just-moisturised, not waiting for it to dry). The base blends into the tinted stain instead of sitting on top.

  • 02

If you want a warmer cover, layer CC Cream over the Foundation. It neutralises any lingering red-purple cast.

  • 03

If the stain is raised or textured, press don't swipe. Dragging pulls product off the high points.
