What it is
A few facts
-
Healed areas can look lighter, darker or redder than the surrounding skin.
-
Burn scars often keep changing for a year or longer.
-
Newly healed areas can be delicate and dry. Follow your care team’s advice before introducing makeup or new products. Healed burn skin and scars are sensitive to the sun and can change colour in sunlight, so sun protection matters.
Coverage at your own pace
Aspilon Foundation offers buildable medium-to-full coverage for visible colour differences on fully healed skin. Apply in thin layers and match the shade to the surrounding complexion. Continue any scar-care advice from your treating team; makeup is an optional cosmetic step.

Check and prepare
Confirm that the area is fully healed and ready for makeup. Follow your clinician's skincare advice.
Blend a small amount
Gently press Aspilon Foundation onto the area with a clean damp sponge. Avoid rubbing or stretching sensitive scar tissue.
Build only as needed
Add thin layers where you want more coverage and blend into the surrounding tone. At the end of the day, remove gently with a mild cleanser, without rubbing or scrubbing.
