Burn marks

Optional coverage for colour differences on fully healed skin.
A gentle application and realistic expectations come first.

What it is

After a burn has healed, the affected area may differ in colour or texture from the surrounding skin. Scars can be raised, tight or sensitive, and their appearance varies. Cosmetic coverage may help disguise colour differences on fully healed skin, but it does not treat burns, repair scars or change scar texture.

Coverage considerations

1

Making sure skin is ready

Only apply makeup to fully healed, intact skin. If you are unsure, ask your burns team or treating clinician before use.

2

Colour and texture changes

Foundation may soften the contrast in colour. Raised or uneven scar texture can remain visible after application.

3

A comfortable routine

Healed areas may still feel sensitive. Apply gently, check for known ingredient sensitivities and stop if the product causes irritation.

Aspilon Cosmetics buildable coverage Foundation for visible skin differences

Our approach

Coverage at your own pace

Aspilon Foundation offers buildable medium-to-full coverage for visible colour differences on fully healed skin. Apply in thin layers and match the shade to the surrounding complexion. Continue any scar-care advice from your treating team; makeup is an optional cosmetic step.

How we formulate

How to apply

1

Step one

Check and prepare

Confirm that the area is fully healed and ready for makeup. Follow your clinician's skincare advice.

2

Step two

Blend a small amount

Gently press Foundation onto the area with a clean damp sponge. Avoid rubbing or stretching sensitive scar tissue.

3

Step three

Build only as needed

Add thin layers where you want more coverage and blend into the surrounding tone. Remove gently at the end of the day.
